The aims of the lesson:

1)     Educational: Presentation of the lesson about "My favourite subject is PE”,  to train  new words and discussion an English language.

2)     Developing: To develop the pupils habits of the oral speech , to develop    pupils creative and logical abilities, understanding, reading and writing, grammar and lexical skills to revise Numbers and letters.

 3) Bringing-up: to bring up love and interest to the subject, to respect each   other, to create an English atmosphere in the classroom.


Inter-subject connection: Kazakh, English

The type of the lesson: presentation, integrative

Methods of teaching: training, explanation, demonstration, interaction

The equipment of the lesson: diagrams on the tasks, pictures, posters

I)                  Organization moment

a)                Greetings

-Good morning children?

-How are you?

b)                A talk about on duty

-Who is on duty today?

-Who is absent today?

       c) A talk about the weather?


-What date is it today?                 - What month is it now?

II)              Phonetic drills  
1)Let’s find out the theme of our today’s lesson and revise the ABC. Every number means the letter. You should find out the words.

Today we are going to speak about our favourite subject PE.
2)[ ei] – cake, grape.
٨] – butter, much.
ә] – here, near, idea.

[ei] – make, say, they.
[oi] – boy, enjoy, voice

Let’s begin our lesson.
Work with new words
To understand our lesson we need some new words. Look at the blackboard.

Repeat after me.

Ex. 2 p. 114  Listen, point and say.

There is a swimming pool.

There is a yard.

There is a playground.

There is a house.

There is a library. Etc.

There are houses.

There are tress.

There are computers. Etc.


Ex. 3 p. 115 Ask and answer. Look at the picture.

Is there a swimming pool? Yes, there is.

Is there a flower? No, there is not. No there isn’t.


Ex. 4 p. 115 Match the pictures and the words.

A playground – 3

A canteen – 4

A swimming pool – 1

A gymnasium – 2


Ex. 5 p. 115 Look at the pictures and tick the activities you do at school.

Dancing –                             Swimming –                      Playing chess –

Playing volleyball –              Playing football –             Playing tennis –

Very good I see you have learnt new words very good.


And now let’s say about what you like doing.

For example:

I like playing football.

I like playing volleyball.

I like swimming. Etc.

Now let’s have a relaxation. Look at the blackboard and listen. After you will sing a song yourself.
If you happy, happy, happy clap your hands

Make up the dialogue
- Do you like …?
- Yes, I do. / No, I don’t
IV. Consolidation
Write "Like”

Write 5 sentences what subjects you like, what subjects your friend likes, and what he/ she is good at, and you are good at.

- The lesson is over, goodbye!
