Цели: Закрепление по теме «Мой родной город»; активизация лексических навыков; тренировка навыков аудирования и монологической речи.

Ход мероприятия:

 -  Good morning, children! How are you? Today we shall sing songs and recite poems, ask and answer the questions, describe the pictures and play games on the topic "So many countries, so many customs”.

Task 1: Warming –up.

We have no teams today. Each pupil will do the tasks and get "a flag”. The first task is to answer the questions. Listen to me carefully, please!

Questions: 1) When was London founded?

2) Who founded London?

3) What is the central street of the city?

4) What place of the city do newly married people usually visit?

5) How many people live in London?

6) How many rivers and streams are there in London?

7) How many canals are there London?

8) What is the most famous symbol of the city?

Task 2: SightsofLondon.

Учитель предлагает детям прослушать рассказы о достопримечательностях Лондона и соотнести рассказ и название на доске.

Task 3: Famous people of London.

На интерактивной доске появляются портреты известных людей, жизнь и творчество которых связаны с Лондоном. Ученики рассказывают об одном из известных людей. Рассказ должен содержать 5-7 предложений.

Task 4: Dates.

Now the task for you is to match the dates and the important events.

Task 5:

Let’s sing songs and recite poems we have learnt this term.

Result:

Thank you for your work, children! You were so active today! Will you count your flags? If you have 8 to 19 flags, you will have an excellent mark today. If you have from 6 to 8, you will have a good mark.
