The procedure of the lesson: T: Good
morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it
today? Who is absent today?How are you today? What day is it today? What’s
the weather like today? How did you spend your holiday? Where have you been?
Look at
the board! You can see there a cluster with the central word "summer”. What
words, in your opinion, relate to this phrase? F.E.
swimming, heat, ice-cream, warm, beach, etc. The theme
of our lesson is "Holiday activities”. Today we are going to talk about your
holidays, holiday activities and review the tenses of the verb. Ex.1,
p. 10. Make
questions with you from the
sentences. Example: SA:
When were you born? SB:
I was born in Almaty in 1991. Ex. 3,
p. 10. Holidays
are always great. During holidays young people have free time to do what they
want and just relax. Draw the diagram in your notebook. And write as many
activities as possible you associate with summer holidays. Eg.:
Skateboarding, joining a computer club, … Ex. 4, p. 11. Interview your classmates and make a report using
the following expressions. Eg.: Have you ever skateboarded? Open your books at page 39
and read grammar reference. Review all tenses of the verb. Ex. 7, p. 11. Read the sentences and match them to the tenses. Eg.: I have never broken my arms and legs. – Present
Perfect. Ex. 1,
p. 44. Choose the
correct form of the verb. 1.To review grammar rules. 2.Ex. 2 p. 44 What was
the theme of our lesson? What have you learnt today? Was it difficult for
