 department store, employee, self-service, to lend, to borrow. The procedure of the lesson: T: Good morning, dear children!  Sit down!  Who is on duty today?  What date is it today?  Who is absent today? What day is it today?  What’s the weather like today?  Find the words: 
 Retell the text! Today we are going to talk and read about shopping
 in Britain, different types of shops. Open your books on page 89. Open your
 vocabularies and write down the new words. Ex. 1 p. 89 Listen to the text looking at the memory
 map. Ex. 2 p. 90 Pair work. Ask and answer the questions. Ex. 3 p. 90 Read the text about shopping in London.
 Translate it. Ex. 4 p. 90 Are these sentences true or false? Ex. 5 p. 91 Write questions to these answers. Example:  300 – How many departments does Selfridges have? Ex. 7 p. 91 Look up the new words in your
 dictionary.  Answer the questions using
 the table. And now let’s find out the difference between the
 verbs "to lend” and "to borrow”. To
 lend – одалживать кому-то что-то  = to give To
 borrow - занимать у кого-то = to take Ex. 8 p. 91 Put in the correct form of borrow
