Third Conditional.

The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you? What’s the weather like today? How many lessons do you have today? What are they? What marks did you get at other lessons?

Today we are going to review the theme "Third Conditional ”.

First let’s review grammar rules watching the presentation (учащиеся смотрят презентацию и повторяют правила).

Read grammar reference, unit 2.

Ex. 12 p. 60 Read the conversation. What is it about? How did they spend last summer?

Ex. 13 p. 60 Read the conversation again and write out the sentences with Third Conditional.

Example: It would have been better if I had stayed with an English family.

Complete the rule.

Ex. 16A p. 60 Last year Ainur won a visit to England in a competition. Unfortunately she was taken ill and couldn’t go there. What would she have seen (done) if she had been to England? Make up sentences.

Example: If she had been to England she would have seen Big Ben.

Ex. 16B p. 61 Read the text. Answer the questions:

1. What is this text about?
2. What’s happened with Kate?
3. What’s happened with her at the end of the story?
