The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

Who can tell me, what day is it today? Write down on the sheets of paper as many words connected with medicine as possible.

Ex. 13 p. 56 Give me your copybooks!

Today we are going to continue the theme "Medicine” and will talk about first aid.

Ex. 1 p. 56  Look at the picture and tell what is happening.

Do you think the woman is a doctor? Have you ever used first aid to help someone?

Ex. 2 p. 56 Read the situations. What would you do in these situations?

Ex. 3 p. 57 Study the new words and write them down into your vocabularies.  Read the text.

Answer the questions:

1.     Why is a little knowledge of first aid a dangerous thing?

2.     What are the three things you should know at the place of a car accident?

3.     What should you do about burns?

Ex. 4 p. 58 Correct the false statements.
