morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it
today? Who is absent today? What day is it today? What’s the weather like today?

Today we are going to read 2 letters from pen-friends. Ex. 9 p.
32 Read the letters and compare them. Answer
the questions: 1.How do
we start writing letters? 2.Who
wrote the first letter? 3. What

is the second letter about? 5.Where
do the authors live?
Ex. 10 p.
33 Read the letters again and complete the following diagram. Compare the
life of Tom and Rodger. You can use the table or the Venn’s diagram. Ex. 11 p.
33 Go to your classmates and read each other’s diagram. If you find a new
idea write it down into your diagram. Ex. 12 p.
33 Write a letter to your pen-friend. Mind the beginning and the ending of
your letter.
