"Can” in the Past Indefinite tense.

The verb "can” in Past Indefinite tense has only 1 form: could.

Open your books on page 42.

Ex. 2 p. 42 Match A with B to make sentences.

Example: Computers can check spellings.

Ex. 3 p. 42 Make up questions about robots.

Example: Can robots sleep?

 Ex. 4 p. 42 Say what people do that robots can’t do.

Example: People can sleep, but robots can’t sleep.
