Start 1. Organization moment:
T: Good morning, students!
S: Good morning, teacher!
T: How are you?
S: Fine, thanks.
T: What season is it now?
S: It is summer.
T: What is the weather like today?
What holiday are we going to celebrate on the 6th of July?
S: It is sunny. It is Astana’s Day and our President’s Birthday.
T: Well done! Thank you.

Class divides into three groups.
2. New theme:

New vocabulary:
Teacher introduces class with new vocabulary.
Learners repeat after the teacher:

Task 1. “Snowball” game. Complete the list of professions.

Task 2. Match pictures in line A with pictures in line B.
Learners match the pictures and repeat the names of the professions.

Through singing a song learners develop their listening and speaking skills.

Task 3. Group work.
Group 1 – Mime four professions.
Group 2 – Write one profession with thread.
Group 3 – Role – play. Introducing the members of family and their professions.
Example:
Father: Hello, this is our family. I am a father and my name is Jack Brown. I am a policeman.
Mather: Hi, I am a mother and my name is Ann Brown. I am a doctor.
Daughter: I am Jane. I am a teacher.
Son: My name is Nick. I am a musician.
