The theme of the lesson: Countable and uncountable nouns.

The aim of the lesson:

       - developing:  to develop critical thinking, understanding, speaking abilities

          and grammar competence.

       - educational: to improve educational and abilities in listening comprehension.

       - upbringing:  to bring up love and interest to the subject

Visual aids: interactive board, cards, slide show.

Type of the lesson: new lesson.

                                                     The  procedure of the lesson

I. Organization  moment:

    Good afternoon pupils!

    I am glad to see you

    Who is on duty today?

    Who is absent?

     What date is it today?

II. Phonetics drill

     Do you want to have a nest?

     No, no, rest, rest, rest

     Do you want to have a gun?

     No, no, fun, fun, fun

     Do you want to work?

     No, no, walk, walk, walk

     Do you want to chat?

     Oh, with pleasure: clap, clap, clap

III. Checking up home task.

IV.  Introduction of the new lesson:

       Today we will revise all countable and uncountable nouns.

       Look at the interactive board.

       1. We need a teapot and some cups.

       Teapot, cup сөздерінің көпше түрлері бар.

        Олар саналатын (countable) зат есімдер.

        2. We need some tea and milk.

        Тea, milk  сөздерінің көпше түрлері жоқ.

        Олар саналмайтын (uncountable) зат есімдер

         Мысалы:  one teapot, one cup саналатын зат есімдер.

Саналмайтын зат есімдер туралы айтқанда сандар қолданылмайды. Саналатын зат есімдер көпше және жекеше түрде болуы мүмкін. Біз one apple немесе two apple деп айтамыз. Себебі алманы санай аламыз. Біз water немесе some water деп айтамыз бірақ a water немесе two water деп айтпаймыз.

V. Practice:

 look at the interactive board, pay attention to the exercise.

     Read and write countable and uncountable words.

     Cars, water, air, weather

     Bottles, petrol, apples, bread

     Money, peas, lemons, sugar

     Salt, eggs, toys, milk

     Carrot, ham, cheese, coffee

VI. Production:  read the text and find in the text countable and uncountable nouns.

VII. The next task true or false.

        It's true  - sit, it's false - stand up.





VIII. Give the plural form of the nouns and learn the rhymes in oral.

         1. a cat - cats                                       a bee - bees

         2. a hat - hats                                      a tree -trees

         3. a sock - socks                                  a shelf - shelves

         4. a dog -dogs                                     a knife - knives

         5. a frog - frogs                                   a glass - glasses

IX. The next task:

       Translate the nouns from Russian into English an give the necessary form of the verbs.

       His ... (білім) (is, are) deep.                                              Five ... (адам) (is, are) here.

       His ... (кеңес) (is, are) wise.                                             The ... (полиция) (is, are)  here.

                                                                                                 The ... (киім) (is, are) there.

       His ... (шаш) (is, are) fair.                                                The ... (қайшы) (is, are) there.

       His ... (сағат) (is, are) slow.

       His ... (ақша) (is, are) there

X. And now take the cards.

     Translate the nouns from Kazakh into English, use the necessary verb and the Kazakh equivalents for the following English proverbs.

1. A cat (қолғап) in ... catches no ... (тышқан).

2. When the cat is away, the ... (тышқан).

3. Time is ... (ақша).

4. The less ...(адам) think, the more they talk.

5. ... (білім) (is, are) power.

6. ... (киім) (don't doesn't) make a man.

7. There is no bad weather, there (is, are) bad ...(киім)

8. No ...( жаңалық) (is, are) good

9. Don't give salt or ... (кеңес) until you are asked.

10. A tree is known by it's ...(жеміс).
